LOW CARBON WIRE (LC WIRE)
An essential part of everyday life
Steel wire with a carbon content of 0.20% is considered low carbon. Suitable for a wide range of applications, this is a general-purpose manufacturing wire. Material of this type has good formability, can be curved, or flattened, and can be threaded with a roll. The strength of the material is primarily determined by its carbon content, which increases with the amount of carbon. Carbon steel becomes less malleable as its carbon content increases.
Plating and coating require a high-quality surface finish. The decades of experience we have in manufacturing a first-class surface finish sets our wire apart.
With our low carbon wire, we can adjust many production and chemical variables to meet your specific needs.
Sivaco’s low carbon wire can be used in several applications such as:
- wire mesh
- construction (nails, fences, etc.)
- point of purchase display racks
- automotive components
- appliances (refrigerators, washing machines, stoves etc.)
- CNC wire forming
